We would be pleased if you were to browse our website, in which you will find examples of work completed, together with existing buildings from which you might glean some inspiration.  Our gallery also shows some fine examples of carving and intricate works, together with restoration work done on historic buildings, a very specialist skill requiring a high degree of craftsmanship.   Carved details in your frame will turn it from a stunning frame into an exceptionally stunning frame, increasing its beauty and the value of your home.  It does cost a bit more, but it is well worth the extra.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Only traditional jointing methods are used, such as mortice and tenon, dovetails, bridle joints, etc. which are held together with hand made oak pegs, giving a frame that is both enduring and beautiful.

 

 

 

 

 

After your frame has been crafted, it is erected on site with the assistance of a crane; a spectacle that is intriguing to most new frame owners.  Within the space of days, the building is up and ready to have the roofing and wall materials added.  The walls can be either infilled to expose the oak on the exterior and the interior; or timber clad to the outside, allowing the oak work to be exposed to the interior.
